Jamuna Thimmarayappa joined Kronos Bio in 2023 as Vice President of Clinical Development Operations and Data Management. She is responsible for Kronos Bio’s clinical development strategy and the execution of clinical studies. Ms. Thimmarayappa is a seasoned clinical development operations leader with more than 20 years of experience. She joins the Kronos Bio team from Fate Therapeutics, where she was the Executive Director of Clinical Operations. In that role, she provided strategic guidance and leadership to the Clinical Operations team while overseeing the lymphoma disease area team and multiple IPSC-derived NK and T-cell clinical programs. In her previous role as the Head of Clinical Operations at Zymeworks, she built a high performing clinical development operations and Data Management team which was pivotal in transforming the company from pre-clinical to a successful late-stage clinical company. Prior to her role at Zymeworks, Ms. Thimmarayappa gained extensive experience at PPD, managing global Phase I-IV clinical studies. Her earlier career involved contributions to infectious disease programs at Sarepta Therapeutics and academic research at the University of Michigan for eight years. Ms. Thimmarayappa holds a Master of Science in Microbiology and a Bachelor of Science in Microbiology from Bangalore University.
